EV charging hotspots in Great Britain

The latest charging data from OVO reveals that the South and East of England are leading the pack when it comes to EV charging hotspots, with London and South West England bringing up the rear as the least popular EV charging regions in the UK.

The charging stats from OVO’s Charge Anywhere data, reveal that southern England has the highest percentage of charging - with the south equating to 20% of total EV charging and eastern England accounting for 15% of all charging.

Charging volumes in southern England are 10 times the volume of charging in London.

The east midlands is the third hottest region for EV charging, at 10% of overall percentage, followed by West Midlands and South East England at around 8% each.

Overall, Scotland accounts for 10% of EV charging in the UK, with Southern Scotland 55% more popular than its northern counterpart, taking 6% of the total charging volume.
